ANDREA BOURGEOIS
Director
My time at Northminster Day School began in 2007. After six years of teaching a 3s class and two years teaching Kindergarten, I was thrilled to fill the role of director of this wonderful school!
I graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in 1992 and have worked in various education roles over the years– from preschool, Kindergarten, and 3rd grade in the public and private school systems to many years working with preschoolers and elementary age children at The Dunwoody Nature Center. The children continue to fuel my passion for the most rewarding job in the world!
I’m married with three children who all attended NDS and who continue to return in the summer as camp teachers. This school is so very special to all of us. I am blessed to have met so many wonderful families through NDS and to work with creative and dedicated teachers who make our preschool a warm and loving environment for our children to grow and learn.
JENNIFER BUNNELL

KATE DALEY
Bookkeeper/ Accountant
I am so excited to be joining the NDS team in 2024 by helping with the bookkeeping. One of my sons attended NDS, and my daughter is currently enrolled. Our whole family loved and enjoyed the experience! It has been fun moving from full-time mom position to being able to work and spend time with adults again.
BONNIE DUGAS
I have been teaching at NDS since 2017. My 1st year I spent substituting in all the classes and fell in love with the school. I happily accepted a position in the 2s class the following year. I have worked with kids of all ages since I was 13, have a degree in Early Education, and have taught children from 2- to 5-years-old. I took time off to stay at home with my children until they were in elementary school. During this time I nannied infants and toddlers.
I am originally from Massachusetts and moved to Roswell in 2016 with my husband, and our 2 children. I love watching children learn and grow and I really enjoy being part of the Northminster team!
CARLA TRIPPI
My family and I are from Athens. We moved to the Atlanta area almost 20 years ago to be closer to CHOA and the medical needs of our youngest daughter. My husband and I have 4 grown children and 2 very precious granddaughters. I began teaching in a 2’s class shortly after moving here and then took over as director of the Playroom at All Saints. All of this while simultaneously homeschooling our children for 19 years. I am very happy to be joining the awesome group of ladies at NDS and returning to the classroom and doing what I do best, shaping minds and loving littles!
CARLI GUIGLI
I am so excited to join the Darling Ducklings classroom! I’ve only been in Georgia for one year but have been blown away by the quality of preschool education here. I am originally from Connecticut, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Quinnipiac University. Shortly after the birth of my first child, I shifted careers and took a job as a nanny– caring for a 4-month old, along with my own daughter. I immediately fell in love with child care and continued my nanny career until my first child started Pre-K. I am so grateful to be a part of your kiddos early childhood education!
CARREY HUGOO
Hello! I am so excited to be teaching at NDS this year as the MUSIC TEACHER! I am married and have 3 children who all attended NDS! I grew up in St. Louis, MO, and have a degree in French and International Relations. Prior to my position at NDS, I taught music, dance, and English language acquisition in France for 3 years. After returning to the USA, I taught music, tap, and French language at a Pre-K-8 school, The Forsyth School, in St. Louis, MO. For the last several years, I have been serving as President of the PTO Board at my children’s school, The International Charter School of Atlanta, as well as French tutoring and substitute teaching. I am really looking forward to having my own classroom this year and teaching all of your beautiful children. We are going to have lots of fun!!!
CARRIE MCIVER
I’m grateful to have been a part of the NDS family since 2018. I absolutely love the preschool years and working with young children. Being a part of this wonderful school and watching beautiful babies grow and flourish brings me so much joy.
Before becoming a preschool teacher, I graduated with a BS in business administration and worked in Physician Recruiting until becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom in 2008. My husband and I are proud parents of 3 children.
CHRIS LEACH
I am originally from Long Island New York and attended Adelphi University earning a degree in Business Management. I worked for Rich’s and Sterns Department Stores for 15 years as a buyer. In 2001, my husband and I relocated to Johns Creek where we are raising our children.
I have worked at Northminster Day School since 2011 in kindergarten, PMO, 3s class and currently in the 4s class.
CHRISTY PINCHEON
Teaching is a passion of mine, and I’m so happy to come full circle and be a part of the NDS team again! A native New Yorker (I grew up in Huntington, Long Island), I earned my bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University and then went on to get a masters in Elementary Education at Fordham University. After teaching kindergarten for 6 years in Bucks County, PA, my husband and I moved to Alpharetta in 2001. We are proud parents of two daughters who are now all grown up. I had the privilege of teaching the 4-year-old class at NDS while my girls attended preschool here themselves (2004-2007). Once they moved on to elementary school, I began teaching at Northwood ES. I returned to NDS to teach kindergarten in 2018, and I look forward to creating a warm and fun learning environment that promotes discovery and fosters friendships for your children!

DANIELLE MILLER
I’m so excited to be joining the Northminster community as the Kindergarten teacher this year! I’ve taught elementary and preschool for 13 years and also acted at Activities Director at All Saints Catholic Church for 10 years, where I facilitated summer camps and after school programs for children. I graduated from Mercer University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and received my Masters in Educational Instructional Technology.
I’m originally from Macon, Georgia, and moved to Alpharetta 20 years ago when my husband, Mark and I married. We are parents to two teens who keep us busy with their sports and activities. I’m looking forward to a fun year and I’m so happy to be teaching Kindergarten again.
GABY BURDETT
I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina and have been living in Georgia since my junior year of high school. I graduated from The University of Georgia (where I met my husband), and now we live in Roswell with our 2 children, our three cats, and dog. I taught preschool for many years, and it’s truly my favorite age group. I love teaching Spanish, because I get to share my culture and language in a fun, immersive, silly and interactive manner. The amazing work environment at NDS, along with its fantastic staff, and sweet children make it a joy to teach.
JO ARSLAN
I have been at NDS since 2016. I am originally from Michigan but have lived in Georgia for many years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from KSU. I taught at Roswell North Elementary for ten years until the birth of my son. I was a stay-at-home mom of three children and volunteered at Northwood Elementary often. I became acquainted with NDS while babysitting for an NDS student. I was very impressed with the day school and wanted to join this great group of educators. I am so excited to be working with the little ones in the 18-23 month PMO class again. Children this age bring so much joy to my days.
KELSEY MCKEAIGE
Now that my children have departed Northminster, it’s my turn to join in the fun! After receiving my degree from GC&SU, I moved to the Roswell area where I met my husband and married in 2016.
Now that my kids are in school full-time, I’m looking forward to assisting in the 3s class. My kids had fantastic years at NDS where they learned so much. I can’t wait to engage with your kids and see what they come up with!
KYLIE ROGER
Georgia has been home since 2002 and where my husband and I started a new journey together. We have been blessed with 15 years of marriage, two amazing sons, and our furry friend Gunner. We love spending time together at the baseball field, tennis courts, and traveling. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and working out. I am excited to join NDS where my sons grew and learned. After they left, I really wanted to remain part of the community. I have been substituting in classes and discovered my passion for teaching. I am thrilled to assist in the 2s class and to create a nurturing environment that inspires joy, curiosity, and learning. I look forward to meeting you and having a great school year!
KRISTIN JAMES
My love for children runs deep, and I couldn’t be more excited to join the NDS staff! Born and raised in Kansas, I moved to Boston in my early twenties after attending Kansas State University and earning a degree in political science. After spending four years working as a live-in nanny (and quickly realizing how much I love working with young children), I returned to Kansas and met my husband of 22 years. We have four teenage children (college, high school, and middle school), and each was born in a different state! In 2012, we decided to plant our roots in Atlanta; Johns Creek has become “home.” Walking, reading, and time spent with my family and our two dogs are a few of my favorite things. I can’t wait to meet the children at NDS and be a part of this sweet community!
LAURA GRABOW
For over 20 years, I have worked with preschool children. I have held positions as a lead teacher, co-director, and now as an assistant. I attended Vanderbilt University, transferred and graduated with a B.S. in Child Development from the University of Georgia. After graduation, I was sidetracked into the corporate world but decided to go back to my original passion, children. My belief is that children are active learners and that through exploration and discovery, children learn from the world around them. It is our job to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to develop a life-long love of learning.
My family currently lives in Johns Creek. My husband, David, and I have 2 children. If I could keep them little preschoolers forever, I would. As a family, we enjoy traveling, golfing, skiing, and of course, following the Georgia Bulldogs!
MANNDI IOVINO
After graduating from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I have held several positions working with children. I have taught preschool for many years before moving into roles as Program Director and eventually Assistant Director of a corporate-sponsored early childcare center. My youngest daughter was fortunate to attend NDS through Kindergarten. Being a NDS parent made me realize that I wanted to eventually join this wonderful teaching team! I am thrilled to be back in the classroom teaching!
Originally from New York, I have lived in Georgia for the past 17 years and reside in Roswell with my husband and our two daughters. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and traveling with family and friends.
MEAGHAN PRINDLE
I am so excited to be joining the Northminster Day School family this year as a 3’s assistant teacher. I was born and raised in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, and studied Marketing at UGA. I married my high school sweetheart and have three wonderful children and two dogs. In my spare time, I love reading, traveling, and taking my children to all their activities.
I have a deep love for Northminster Day School because all three of my children went through and thrived at the school. NDS has been in my life for the past 8 years, and it is such a special place. I spent the past 2 years as a parent representative on the Day School board, and the past 5 years as a substitute teacher. I am so excited for the upcoming school year and being able to watch the children learn and grow.
MEG DUBE
I’m an assistant in the 4-day 3s class and have been at Northminster Day School since 2002. I have also worked in the 2s and the PMO classes. I moved down to Atlanta in 1993 with my family. I grew up in Norwalk, CT, and attended UConn, earning a bachelor’s degree in the school of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
MO TROYER
I have been teaching 3s classes at NDS since the fall of 2013. After receiving my degree from New York University in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, I moved to Seattle, where my love for teaching preschool developed. Through teaching at Head Start, at GA Pre-K, and now here at NDS, sharing my favorite silly songs, finger plays, and books with the kids brings me great joy.
Besides being a teacher, I am a wife and mother to three wonderful children. In my free time, you can find me working out at Burn, chasing down balls on the tennis court, or enjoying a cup of coffee and reading a book.
SANDRA MIRANDA
I’m excited for the chance to join the amazing team at Northminster Community as a teacher for 2s along with showing the kids a thing or two in Spanish class. I was born in Puebla, Mexico, and raised in Roswell, GA. I am still a local here with my husband, daughter, and newborn son. I have always had a passion for helping people but loved working specifically with children. I have worked with newborns to pre-K students. I enjoy working with those age groups, because I get to see their cute personalities come out, to see them learn, and to grow quickly. I can’t wait to meet everyone and began an amazing journey with my team and classroom at NDS!
SHANNON PINCHOK
I am thrilled to be at Northminster Day School in 2024 in the 4-day 4s class. I previously taught in Fulton County– teaching deaf and hard of hearing students. I decided to leave my job to raise my babies but didn’t want to leave education completely. So, during that time, I taught preschool for a few years as well as being a substitute teacher for a several years in Forsyth County. Those babies are now grown, and I am ready to get back to teaching in a classroom. My son is studying at Auburn University, and my daughter is a North Forsyth High School student. My husband and I met at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, have been married 23 years and live in Cumming. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year!
STACEY HEUER
I am originally from California but have lived in Georgia most of my life. From early on, I have always had a love for children and knew I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. I graduated from North Georgia College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and have kept my teacher certification up-to-date.
After college, I taught Pre-K for 2 years and First Grade for 8 years, as well as taught religion school at my church for many years. I decided to stop teaching to stay home and raise my family. I have been married since 1998, and I love spending time with my husband, daughter, son, and cat. I also enjoy doing Jazzercise, walking, dancing, listening to music, hanging out with family and friends, taking photos, and celebrating holidays.
I have been teaching at NDS since 2014. I have really enjoyed working here as a substitute teacher, a teacher at Parents’ Night Out, Early Drop Off, and Late Stay, and currently as an assistant teacher in the 12-17 months PMO class and the lead teacher in the 18-23 months PMO class. I love being with all of these sweet, smart, and fun-loving children and being a part of this very special school!
STACEY SINGERMAN
I have been part of the NDS family for the past five years, starting when my oldest daughter was in the 2s class. Throughout the years, I have continued to be impressed with the kind, loving and enriching experience provided by all the teachers and staff.
Originally from California, I have been in Georgia for the past six years and enjoy living in this wonderful area. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and traveling with my husband and 2 children.
I am so excited to be a teaching assistant in the MTTh 2s class! This age is one of my favorites; I can’t wait to teach through play and share in each child’s joy as they learn new skills.
STACI CULLINAN
I’ve been teaching at NDS since 2019. I’m originally from Maryland but have lived in Georgia since my high school days. I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Spanish Translation and Interpretation. I worked in Sales prior to becoming a mom more than 18 years ago. I have been married since 1999 and have four children (three are NDS alumni). Before coming to NDS, I worked at Johns Creek United Methodist Preschool. I also volunteer at North Point Church in Waumba Land on Sundays. In my spare time, I love watching Auburn football, working out, traveling, and watching my kids play baseball and swim competitively. I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year and being blessed by all of these amazing children.
SUSAN MCCARTHY
I have been part of the NDS family since 2001, when my youngest child was in the 2-year-old class. I taught in the 18-month PMO and 2s classes for the first 11 years and then as an assistant to the 3-day 3s class. I am married and have 3 grown children and anxiously waiting on grandchildren!
In 1985, I received a bachelor’s degree in social work at Taylor University in Indiana. I worked in the field of social work for 10 years with children and adults with special needs.
NDS has been a wonderful place to work; there is such a loving supported atmosphere here. I absolutely love working with children and don’t see myself doing anything else!
TRACEY SCHMIDT
My name is Tracey Schmidt, and I’m excited for another year in the Caterpillar Class! I’ve been teaching at NDS since 2012. My 3 children all went to NDS when they were in preschool, and I’ll never forget the love and care they received here. I love to give the same for my families! My husband and I have lived in the area since we got married in 1997. We stay busy with our kids’ active lives and our 3 sweet kitties.
