NPC is hosting a new family for HomeStretch, and we are seeking a Family Mentor. HomeStretch is a program that supports low-income, working families as they transition from homelessness to stable, independent living. While in the HomeStretch program, families pay under-market rent and participate in regular life counseling programs. The Family Mentor position is an 18-month commitment to cultivate a relationship with our family as they take steps toward permanent housing. Meetings with the family are monthly and will be held virtually due to the pandemic. This is a wonderful opportunity to act as a source of encouragement and wisdom for our family as the work to achieve their goals.
